Snowy Mountains Regional Food Fair

The Dalgety Chamber of Commerce would like to extend this invitation for you to be a part of the 2008 Snowy Mountains Regional Food Fair.
Known as the premier Food & Wine event in the South East, the Snowy Mountains Regional Food Fair is gearing up for the eighth year to showcase regional produce and offer fantastic networking opportunities for small producers and caterers from all over the South East of NSW.
Being the first of the spring/summer events in the Snowy Mountains High Country we capture many of the mountain residents and visitors at the end of the ski season as well as the lucrative Canberra market. Stallholders experience profitable returns on the day and receive great publicity and promotion.
The Food Fair has become recognized as one of the Mountains' great days out - "just one big picnic" with produce from the Snowy Mountains, Monaro and the Saphire Coast. This year we have a "Best in Jar Competition". See our website snowyfoodfair.com.au for details.
The Food Fair Committee suggests that stallholders provide small portions and tasters so that visitors can try many different culinary experiences. Also, any products that you may have that people can take home…. they just love their food! Remember, the emphasis is on local produce so any products from our region can be incorporated into dishes. Please have your business cards and brochures available for visitors and producers/suppliers to maximize the networking opportunities available on the day.
The aim of the Food Fair is to promote small producers and assist them to maximize local market contacts and pool ideas to overcome difficult issues. We will be marketing the event in Canberra as well as the Illawarra and Sapphire Coast, which we believe is our best market for the event and for return visitation to the Snowies.
